I came to the Ventura Spinal Care Center because I was suffering with low back pain that was radiating down my left leg for 3 years! I had tried medications, physical therapy, spinal injections…but all the results were temporary. I was at the point that only surgery was left. But I knew I would try anything before surgery! I Have Less Pain During My Everyday Activities

I had a herniated disc at L5-S1 which was giving me low back pain and pain down my leg. I had been suffering with this problem for many years, off and on. I tried 2 epidural cortisone shots which gave me limited relief.

I was actually considering surgery when I contacted Dr. Alff because I saw his advertisement in a magazine, which stated if you had a herniated disc in your lower back that non-surgical spinal decompression, could possibly help with the pain. Now that I have completed treatment, I have less pain on walking and my everyday activities. Just Being Able To Sleep At Night Has Made It All Worthwhile

I was having a lot of pain in my lower back and it was making it difficult for me to bend in order to either stand or sit down. The pain was constantly draining my energy. As the pain worsened, I began taking Advil to try and relieve the pain I was experiencing.

At one point I went to a chiropractor to see if he could help me with the problem I was having. Unfortunately, the adjustments just didn’t seem to do anything for me. I tried going to an orthopedic doctor and he gave me four separate shots into my lower back, but the shots just hurt me and didn’t give me any positive results. None of the methods I tried to use to relieve the pain seemed to work.

That’s when I signed up for the DRX-9000! Almost immediately I began to notice that my pain had decreased and that my demeanor as a whole had improved. I have significantly less pain that I used to have.

Pain So Bad He Couldn’t Even Tie His Own Shoes

It’s been over 3 months since I have been able to lean over and tie my own shoes! But even more miraculous is the fact that for the first time in 5 months, I don’t have any numbness in toes!

I hurt my back at work in August of 2007 and the workers compensation doctors would only give me heavy drugs to mask the pain. This did nothing for the pain. In fact, it made me worse!

After months of feeling drugged and desperate to return to work, I went back to the orthopedic doctor who said the only other option was “surgery”. But, other people that I know that have had surgery are worse off than before.

I know that surgery was not the answer and continuing to live a life of inactivity due to the toxic medications I was receiving, I consulted with Dr. Alff about non-surgical spinal decompression.

Unfortunately, my workers compensation insurance would not pay for it, even though they knew it would help me get back to work! So, I paid for it out of my own pocket and am I glad I did!

Stop The Pain. You Owe It To Yourself

I originally came to the Ventura Spinal Care Center because I was suffering with lower back pain. I had tried drugs, rehab, and chiropractic, but nothing was giving me the results that I was looking for. I was tired all the time and often times had to take naps during the middle of the day. Any relief that I experienced was always temporary and the pain went on for over twelve years. When I heard about the DRX-9000, I knew I had to give it a try because I really wanted to find something that would give me more than just temporary relief.

I’m currently 47 years old, but now that I’ve completed my treatment on the DRX-9000, I feel thirty years “young.” I now have the energy to play sports with my son, go camping, and dirt bike riding with my family. Thanks to Dr. Alff and the DRX-9000 I can now be the father I’ve always wanted to be and I will always be grateful for that!

Most Definitely Worth The Money!

The pain I was suffering from affected my entire life. I was pretty immobile as the pain affected my balance and prevented me from being able to take long trips or even get to sleep.

Before trying the DRX-9000, I had tried Chiropractic care, medications, therapy, and epidurals, but the results were always temporary. Nothing helped and my pain just got worse as time went on.

After just a few treatments on the DRX-9000, I noticed that the burning pain in my back had disappeared. Now that my treatment is complete I am sleeping better at night, have more energy, and am suffering from little to in my back. My attitude as a whole is simply much better!

I Danced The Tango!

Sister Beatriz at church told me about Dr. Alff, D.C. and how he has helped her tremendously with her back pain. Then, I read in the newspaper all the success stories of many of his patients and how great they were feeling! I knew then that I had to call for an appointment!

I had been suffering with low back pain and neck pain for
at least 20 years! I had tried physical therapy, which was
very painful for me and I had 3 epidurals, but the pain was still there.

I started a series of treatments on the DRX9000. Non-surgical spinal decompression and I can’t believe how much better I feel! I have no pain!! I am able to dance again. I am walking better with no limp and I don’t say “ouch” like before. I can walk up my stairs at my home easily. I can sit and stand for long periods of time without pain. Bad Sciatica Pain – Treatment With Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression

My sciatica was making my quality of life very poor.

I had three epidurals, took a ton of Vicodin, and had even tried Chiropractic care, but none of it helped. I even tried massage, but the sessions just left my back inflamed and made it impossible for me to walk or stand. My results were so bad that the pain in my back and legs soon spread to the rest of my body as the medication was negatively affecting my heart.

After just a few treatments on the DRX-9000 though, I was able to stand up straight and I no longer had the pain in my legs and buttocks.

I am now standing up straight, walking well, pain free, and feeling great! My quality of life has improved 100%. Since my treatment on the DRX-9000, I’ve even been able to do some gardening and shopping – something I simply wasn’t able to do before. Physically and mentally, I’m feeling 100% better!

No More Pain And A Better Attitude About Life

Prior to receiving care on the DRX9000 non-surgical spinal decompression, I was suffering with sciatica pain and low back pain and my mental attitude was not good! I was cross especially when I wanted to do anything because I hurt all over!

Feel Like You’ve Never Felt Before!

My health seemed to be getting poorer and poorer. As my health declined, so did my attitude. Not being able to do the things I wanted was completely draining my energy and my outlook on life. I needed help.

To relieve the pain, I had a series of epidural shots and took large quantities of hydrocodine. None of it helped to relieve the pain.

The pain was so bad that I had to start missing work. I probably lost four to five months worth of income because of the pain.

Once I started on the DRX-9000, I had almost immediate results. At first, it seemed that the pain had simply moved. But after the third treatment, I found that the sharp pains in my back had been reduced to a weak aching feeling. After completing the treatment, the pain has basically disappeared. It was amazing!

Because of Dr. Alff and the DRX-9000, I can now do so many things that I couldn’t do before! I can sit at my desk for long periods of time and actually get my work done now that I am no longer concentrating on the pain. I can stand up and sit down with ease. Are You Totally Dependent On Pain Pills?

I’ve had an incredible amount of pain in my back for the last six years! Since I had back surgery in 1998, I have been totally dependant on pain pills in order to survive. Even though I had surgery, I received little to no relief from the pain I was experiencing and the amount of activity that I was able to do was very little.

While back surgery gave me no relief, my treatments with Dr. Alff and the DRX-9000 have improved not only my back pain, but my overall health and attitude as well!

Life is no longer a painful, depressing existence thanks to the DRX-9000 and the expertise of Dr. Alff and his staff. I now have a bright outlook on the future!

No Surgery Needed… Thank Goodness!

I had been suffering with sciatica for years. I had tried numerous other treatments and while the pain seemed to go away for a while, the pain always returned after a short amount of time. I’d get a little relief, but nothing really seemed to change.

The pain was affecting the way I lived my life. I couldn’t sit down for long periods of time and I couldn’t travel about in the way I would have liked to.

When I read about the DRX-9000 in the newspaper, I knew I had to try it. I wanted to see if there was something that could help me… something other than surgery!

Low Back Pain Sufferer Deals With It For 15 Years Before Getting Help

I saw Dr. Alff on a TV show and he was explaining about non-surgical spinal decompression with the DRX 9000.

I had been suffering with lower back pain and some sciatica pain for about 15 years! I tried muscle stimulation therapy, chiropractic, and exercises. The pain would come and go, but never go away entirely.

I decided to try non-surgical spinal decompression because I didn’t want to have surgery. I figure, “if it’s not killing you, leave it alone. Because it’s never the same after surgery!”

Since I have completed treatment on the DRX9000, I feel a lot better! I have more energy and practically no pain. I feel stretched out. Before I started care, my spine felt compressed and now it is more open with more energy flowing. I just feel lighter! As long as I keep up with a regime of exercise, water, and some maintenance care, I will be fine!

This whole treatment protocol has made me realize that I need to be more proactive with my health, consistent with exercise, eating right, etc.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the quality of care at the Ventura Spinal Care Center to be a 10!

It’s A New Me!

My left leg was so numb I couldn’t walk! My low back was painful and the pain radiated into my left leg. When I was at work, to forget about the pain, I would take 2 double shots of Starbuck’s coffee, so that I could function! When I would get home, I’d just lie on the couch or stay in bed. I would be sarcastic with people because I felt so bad. In 1995, I was diagnosed with spinal arthritis, but I never realized the pain was going to get so bad.

I tried physical therapy, but after 3 sessions I quit because it wasn’t working. I was prescribed Naporsyn, but I didn’t take it because it’s bad when you have acid reflex. My doctor recommended cortisone shots, but I heard it makes your bones brittle. I would take over the counter meds, but nothing helped.

I suffered with the pain for 5 to 6 months when I saw Dr. Alff on a TV show. I called his office right away because I was in so much pain! He met with me and, luckily, told me I was a candidate for non-surgical spinal decompression with the DRX9000.

Spinal Decompression has definitely changed my life for the better. I am active now in everything! It’s a new me! I hope more people learn about non-surgical spinal decompression because it’s the best thing for their back! People that have a back problem should come straight to Dr. Alff’s office and not do any physical therapy! I would rate the quality of care given to me to be a 10 out of 10!

The Pain Is Gone!

After my DRX-9000 treatments, I feel nothing! Just like the song from “A Chorus Line!”

I spent years having sharp stabbing pain in my lower left back because I have a degenerative disc. I had repeated episodes of excruciating pain that robbed me of weeks of my life.

Nothing really helped for the long term. I had cortisone shots, physical therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. All of those were very temporary and didn’t last more than a few days.

I was extremely frustrated and my neurologist told me I wasn’t quite a candidate or back surgery, but a few years down the road, surgery might be a good idea. Despite what my doctor told me, I was NOT going to have back surgery! I’ve not heard of many people having positive results with surgery and the recovery period of alone is enough to keep me from even considering it.

Then I read about the DRX-9000 and decided to have a consultation with Dr. All. That was a life changing decision!

Dr. Alff and his staff are incredibly wonderful! I went through the treatments and I feel like a new person! I can bend over without wondering if I’ll get back up again! I can sit on the floor! I can walk much longer and farther than I have in a long time. And… the biggest proof of my success with spinal decompression is that I have signed up to take two physical education classes (Walking for fitness and Women’s Conditioning)! I would never have considered taking such classes if it weren’t for the success I’ve had on the DRX-9000.

Now that I’ve completed my treatment, I know that I have to take it easy and go slow until I know what my limits are, but these treatments have really changed my thinking. I am so grateful for Rosey’s gentle and wonderfully attentive care and Dr. Alff’s fabulous skill with his Activator.

I am truly blessed that I chose to come to the Ventura Spinal Care Center and start this new phase of my life.

Taking A Proactive Stand On Health

I initially came to the office with a painful disc bulge that had been bothering me for about two months. My medical doctor recommended I try spinal decompression and directed me to Dr. Alff. It was with that recommendation that I decided to give it a try.

Spinal Decompression has allowed me to go back to work at almost full force and I am now taking a more proactive stance in trying to get and remain healthy.
